Rhodesia is a proven public servant who continues time and time again to stand with and for working class families. Greatly shaped by the values of public service, Rhodesia spent much of her childhood working alongside her grandmother on volunteer projects to connect vulnerable families with food, housing, and other critical services. Through this, Rhodesia learned early on that leadership is about serving others.

As a mom, Rhodesia Ransom knows how to get things done. She has served our community as a non-profit leader, member of the Tracy City Council, and Congressional District Director, helping thousands of young people access mental health care and mentorship, building the first permanent homeless shelter in Tracy, and fighting to make our communities safer. Rhodesia is running for State Assembly because she knows how tough it is to raise a family in California today, and she wants the California dream to be a reality for all our kids.

While many see an elected state office as an opportunity to be powerful, Rhodesia see an opportunity to serve. Rhodesia is committed to always going the extra mile for our community, working to improve our quality of life, and making sure kids and families have more opportunities to succeed.

From a young age, Rhodesia’s grandmother Dorothea instilled in her a passion for community service.
